LAW Workshop

RSVP: Please let me know if you're coming, and what level you'll be this time, so the professors know how many to expect in class.

 

The all-day workshop provides LAW students an extended period of time to discover and practice new arm-waving skills. During the day, each level meets with its own professor for classes, but students also have a chance to direct a live chorus made up of the rest of the LAW students. The feedback from the professor lets the student director learn from their experience. Students can be video taped as they direct so they have something to work with at home. In order to have a chorus to direct, everyone learns a ballad and an uptune. It's important that everyone is "off the paper" so students have a responsive group to direct.

Sheet music and learning tapes (change to CDs) will be available at AIM Weekends prior to the Workshop.
