    "Free, Healthy Resonant Singing"
    This class explores the physiology of the voice in relation to creating an effortless resonant sound that is authentically YOU. Be ready to sing -- we will use warm-ups and songs to practice each technique and discuss what it means to be a lifelong singer.

    "Membership A-Z"
    What does a successful membership plan look like? How can chapters bring in new members while supporting current ones? Where do we start? Answer these questions and others like them in this class, which covers a variety of tools to help chapters establish or enhance their membership program.

    In this class, we will discuss how chorus culture and goals have shifted before, during, and after the pandemic. We will look at ways to set vibrant goals for your chorus and how these goals affect the culture, membership, and identity of every chapter.

    How much fun can you have by quartetting, and what can you learn? A look at the many ways to build quartet interest within your chorus, or diversify and enrich a quartet program you already have going.

    Jennifer Cooke - Bio
    Jen started singing barbershop at a young age with her mom, dad, and sister in Marion, Ohio. She brought this love of four-part harmony with her to Nashville, Tennessee, where she joined Sweet Adelines International (SA) in 2000.
    Jen is a Certified Director through Sweet Adelines’ Director Certification Program and has achieved the status of Master Director. She is also a past member of the SA International Board of Directors and served on the Regional Leadership Committee and the Young Women in Harmony Committee. 
    Jen was awarded the Region 4 (SA) Coach of the Year award in 2018, and she is honored to be a part of the prestigious Harmony University (Barbershop Harmony Society) and HIVE (Harmony, Inc.) faculty. Jen is the current Membership Coordinator for Region 14 in Sweet Adelines; on the Regional Faculty in Regions 4 and 14; and is the Membership Coordinator for Area 6 in Harmony, Inc.

    Jen sings lead with Presto!, current quartet champion of Region 14 (SA) and Swing Theory (HI and BHS), who placed 4th in the 2019 Harmony, Inc. International quartet competition. She is also a member of the international chorus competitor Song of Atlanta (SA). Jen has been the front-line director for Scenic City Chorus (SA) in Chattanooga, TN, for the past 10 years and has recently chartered Serendipity Chorus (HI).
