Description: Join High Desert Harmony Chorus for "Harmony in the Park – A  Celebration of Barbershop Harmony " at Idlewild Park on Sunday, August 17, 2025! We'll be joined by Reno's Silver Dollar Chorus and special guests, the amazing LoveNotes quartet -- the Sweet Adelines 2014 International Quartet Champion "Queens of Harmony"! 

This free event begins at 1:30 with an interactive workshop on the joys of barbershop music, and the entertainment begins at 2:00.

PLAN AHEAD FOR PARKING
 

The California Building at Idlewild Park is at 75 Cowan Dr, Reno, NV.

Idlewild is a popular park, especially on Sundays. The popular Sunday Market occupies the streets marked in blue below from 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM, and we expect that area to stay busy until close to 2:00 PM.

The streets in marked in yellow should have available parking with the areas closest to the park becoming more available the closer it gets to showtime. You will find parking but planning ahead will mitigate stress.



Better yet, consider public or alternative transportation such as a bike or scooter!
